Ocean County Courthouse Closed Due To Facilities Issue

Scheduled court matters will be held remotely, state officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Ocean County Justice Complex will be closed through Wednesday due to a facilities issue, according to the New Jersey Courts website.

The closure notice did not give details about the issue, but multiple buildings in the area, including the Toms River Township Town Hall and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, have dealt with water pipes that froze and burst during the extreme cold that has gripped New Jersey in the last few weeks.

"All scheduled court events and operations for the Justice Complex will proceed remotely," the state court notice said.
