The Story They're Not Telling: How the media has excised the words and ideology of Islamist terror f

“The Story They're Not Telling; How the media has excised the words and ideology of Islamist terror from its reporting, making it easier to villainize Israel, the one country in the Middle East who fights against it” will be the focus of a discussion led by Jennifer Kouzi, a U.S. Media Researcher and Analyst with CAMERA (the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis). Jennifer will discuss the examples of various issues that arise in media reporting on Israel and the broader Middle East. She will explain how CAMERA responds to everything, from erroneous reporting to both subtle and overt media bias.

Jennifer Kouzi monitors anti-Israel bias in the media at CAMERA. Prior to joining CAMERA, Jennifer was an attorney in the greater New York Metropolitan area for over two decades. Jennifer has a B.A. from the University of Rochester, a law degree from Temple University and an M.A. in Political Science, with concentration in Religion and Middle Eastern Politics, from Bar-Ilan University.

Founded in 1982 to monitor bias in print and network media, CAMERA has broadened its expertise to confront misinformation directed at Israel and its supporters. CAMERA corrects falsehoods and distortions in the legacy media, exposes disinformation on social media and other digital platforms, tackles antisemitism in K-12 education, supports pro-Israel students on college campuses, and challenges anti-Israel campaigns.
