Real Panthers Wear Pink Walk Returns To Cedar Grove

The annual Cedar Grove walk will raise money for Minette's Angels Foundation, with food and entertainment planned.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove residents can wear pink and walk for a good cause this October.

The 12th annual Real Panthers Wear Pink Walk is set for Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Panther Park, 118 West Bradford Avenue.

The event benefits Minette’s Angels Foundation, with all proceeds going to the foundation. Minette’s Angels Foundation is a Verona-based nonprofit focused on breast cancer awareness, patient support, survivor stories, scholarships and education.

Food will be available for walkers, along with a live band, balloon and glitter tattoo artists, giveaways and more.

Cedar Grove Recreation is also seeking sponsors for this year's event, according to a recent department Facebook post.

“We thank you for all your support in helping us raise awareness for such a worthy cause” the township said.
