Driver Dies In Wall Township Crash, Police Say

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — A person has died following a two-vehicle crash on Thursday night, Wall Township Police said.

At 11:55 p.m. on Thursday, Wall Police responded to the intersection of State Highway 138 and New Bedford Road following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

As a result of the crash, one driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene, police said.

The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time pending formal notification to next of kin.

An investigation involving members of the Wall Township Police Department, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, and Monmouth County SCART Team remains active and ongoing.
