"She had a special way of making people feel loved, and her impact on so many lives will never be forgotten," Cali Whedon, the fund organizer, said. "Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, and honoring her memory means so much to those she touched."

Sarah's sudden passing has left her family and friends heartbroken, Whedon said.

For her sister Allie, this loss is especially devastating, as six years ago, she and Sarah lost their mother as well.

"With Sarah’s passing, Allie is left as the only family member," Whedon said. "She is facing the unimaginable task of saying goodbye to her sister while also managing the many unexpected expenses that come with such a tragedy."

On top of the funeral costs, Allie is also dealing with the unforeseen costs of managing Sarah’s affairs, Whedon said.

Sarah's friends are reaching out on Allie's behalf to ask for community support during this difficult time.

"Any contribution will help ease the burden of funeral expenses and provide some relief as Allie navigates the challenges ahead," Whedon said. "Your kindness and generosity will make a meaningful difference for Allie as she grieves and tries to find her footing after this heartbreaking loss."

The online fundraiser has a goal of $90,000. As of Tuesday morning, $63,517 has been raised.

"Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help Allie during this incredibly hard time," Whedon said. "Every bit of support means so much and will help honor Sarah’s memory by supporting the loved one she left behind."
