These Streets In Warren Are Scheduled For Paving Under Annual Overlay Program

Township officials released a list of streets scheduled for paving as part of Warren's 2026 road overlay program.

WARREN, NJ —Warren Township has released the list of roads scheduled for improvement and paving under its 2026 annual road overlay program.

The following streets are currently scheduled for paving as part of the 2026 overlay program:

  • Old Smalleytown Road (Stirling Road to Stiles Road)
  • Glenview Road (High Oaks Drive to Loriann Road)
  • Upper Warren Way (Wells Lane to south cul-de-sac)
  • Sage Drive
  • Garden Street (west of Stirling Road)
  • Berryhill Road (west of Stirling Road)
  • Plainfield Avenue
  • Gates Avenue
  • Chatham Place
  • Caldwell Place
  • Summerhill Drive (Reinman Road to Overlook Drive)
  • Brady Road
  • Old Stirling Road (Mountain Avenue to I-78 bridge)
  • Blue Jay Court (Mountain View Road to Trails End Court)
  • Trails End Court
  • Elm Avenue (Liberty Corner Road to Fourth Street)
  • First Street
  • Rockage Road
  • Softwood Way (Boxwood Way to Briarwood Drive West)
  • Jessica Lane (west side of North Road)
  • Ponds Edge Lane
  • Geiger Lane (Calico Lane to Dory Court)
  • South Lane
  • Spruce Lane

Over the last 5 years, the Township Committee has allotted nearly $5 million for road overlay. By utilizing these funds, the Township has paved over 23 miles of local roads since 2022:

“Maintaining safe and reliable roads is one of the most important services local government provides," Deputy Mayor Vanessa Kian said.

"The Township Committee remains committed to making strategic investments in infrastructure and continuing the steady progress residents have seen in recent years.”

The next phase of this program will include Valley View Road and Reinman Road.

The Engineering Department is in the process of developing plans for submission to NJDOT and once approval is granted, the Township will move forward with bidding and construction of those projects.
