What is it? A public art workshop for ages 10 and up that crowd-sources the handcrafting of birds and draws attention to window collisions - a major cause of bird deaths in the United States.
Participants will learn about the species of bird they are creating while discovering simple actions they can take to prevent future collisions.
How does it work? Participants will be given a bird base, fabric, and a bio of a bird species. Finished birds will be tagged with the artist’s name and donated to the project.
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and advance registration is required.
