Do you enjoy writing? What can you expect? The Teen Writing Club is a place where young writers can come to share their works with their peers. Our teens read samples of their works and give constructive criticism and feed back to each other so they can improve their skills.
Attending the Teen Writing Club can count towards volunteer hours.
We also offer writing prompts to help provide inspiration. Please write something based on the prompt to bring to the meeting along with any of your own work you would like to share!
May Writing Prompt: Write about a character who becomes the villain in another character’s story.
Writing prompts are meant as icebreakers and inspiration for our young writers. They can be as short as a paragraph or as long as a novel.
Open to Wayne young adults in 5th grade & up.
