NJ Man Lured, Sexually Assaulted 5-Year-Old, Police Say
The 78-year-old lured the child into his apartment and abused him, according to officials.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County man has been arrested after luring a child into his home to sexually assault him, according to officials.
Arnold Allan Capalbo, 78, of West Milford, faces several charges after he lured and abused a five-year-old child, police said.
On Sept. 22, around 7:30 p.m., prosecutors received a tip from the West Milford Police that a child had been sexually abused at Capalbo's home earlier that day.

An investigation revealed that Capalbo had lured a five-year-old boy into his apartment before sexually abusing him, officials said.
On Friday, Capalbo was arrested near Lincoln Avenue and Marshall Hill Road in West Milford and charged with sexual assault, luring a child, lewdness, and endangering the welfare of a child.

If convicted of all charges, Capalbo could spend up to 26 years in prison.
