Woman Hit By Car, Killed In North Jersey, Police Say
The 50-year-old pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital following the collision, police said.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A woman is dead following a crash in Passaic County last week, according to police.
On Friday, around 7 p.m., police were called to Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue in Paterson on reports of a pedestrian-related car crash.
Authorities arrived to find that a 50-year-old Paterson woman had been hit by a car and seriously injured.

The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to prosecutors.
The driver of the car, whose identity has not been shared by prosecutors, remained on the scene, police said.
