Monmouth Arts invites the community to experience “Culture Around the Corner,” a vibrant, multicultural art festival taking place Friday, October 2 – Sunday, October 4th in Long Branch, New Jersey. This three-day event promises a unique celebration of creativity, diversity, and community spirit across multiple public spaces in Long Branch.
Attendees will enjoy live performances that showcase an array of cultural traditions, savor global flavors from food vendors, and explore art exhibitions featuring talented local artists. The festival also invites community members of all ages to take part in hands-on art experiences, making it an inclusive event that celebrates artistic expression and cultural connection. Activities will span various locations throughout Long Branch, transforming public spaces and activating local businesses.
This initiative is designed to strengthen community identity, support local artists, and highlight the creativity and diversity found in Monmouth County. Festival Schedule Highlights:
Friday, October 2: The festival opens with an art exhibition and reception, welcoming guests to connect with artists and preview the works on display.
Saturday, October 3: Broadway comes alive with live cultural performances, inviting audiences to enjoy music, dance, and artistic expression from around the world.
Sunday, October 4: The celebration concludes at White Chapel Projects with the Folklife Village, featuring artisan vendors, food trucks, children’s activities, and performances reflecting the cultural richness of Long Branch and Monmouth County.
“Culture Around the Corner” is funded by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and coordinated by Monmouth Arts. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to celebrating local creativity and supporting vibrant community life in Long Branch and beyond.

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 — OPENING NIGHT
The festival opens with the "Faces of Long Branch" art exhibition and reception, launching a weekend of creativity and community. Guests are invited to experience the exhibition alongside live performances at the Long Branch Public Library and Slocum Park.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 — MAIN FESTIVAL GROUNDS: GLOBAL STAGE CELEBRATION
The festival’s signature day takes place at the Main Festival Grounds behind Brookdale, featuring multiple stages with continuous live cultural performances showcasing music, dance, and artistic traditions from around the world. Guests can also explore artisan vendors, enjoy global cuisine, and participate in family-friendly activities, including a dedicated kids’ zone and hands-on art experiences.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4 — FOLKLIFE VILLAGE
The festival concludes at White Chapel Projects with a folklife village featuring artisan vendors, cultural performances, and immersive experiences highlighting the richness and diversity of Long Branch and Monmouth County.
