West Windsor Student Expands Free Food Pantry Access With Eagle Scout Project
Two new Little Free Food Pantries are part of a West Windsor student's Eagle Scout project addressing food insecurity.

WEST WINDSOR, NJ — A West Windsor student’s Eagle Scout project is giving residents more places to access free food around the clock.
Arnav Anand, a rising senior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South and member of Scouting America Troop 40, installed two Little Free Food Pantries, according to West Windsor Township.
The project added a pantry at the West Windsor Senior Center and replaced one at the West Windsor Arts Center. Together with an existing pantry at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church, 154 South Mill Road, there are now three locations.

“I chose this project because I know that food insecurity affects many people — not only across our country, but also here in our own community,” Anand said in the township’s announcement.
The project was completed in partnership with Send Hunger Packing West Windsor-Plainsboro. Residents can donate unexpired, non-perishable food to the pantries.
