Drop Box, Polling Place Changes For 2026 Primary Announced In Union County
Union County's 24 ballot drop boxes open Friday, and affected voters will get postcards about polling place changes.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Union County voters can begin using the county’s 24 secure ballot drop boxes for the 2026 Primary Election as of Friday.
The drop boxes will remain open through the close of polls on June 2, at 8 p.m.
There are two drop box location changes this year, according to Union County Board of Elections Administrator Nicole DiRado.

In Hillside, the drop box has moved to Conant Park, 320 Conant St.
In Summit, the drop box is now at the Summit Community Center, 100 Morris Ave.

The full list of drop box locations is available on the Union County Board of Elections website at www.ucnj.org/ucboe.
All 24 drop boxes are under camera surveillance 24/7, available to voters 24/7 and ADA accessible.
The county also shared the list of certified polling locations for the primary election:
There are polling location changes this year in Elizabeth, Linden, Roselle Park and Union. Affected voters will be notified by postcard before Election Day. Each voter’s polling location is also listed on their sample ballot.
Voters are encouraged to bring their sample ballots with them to the polling location for easier check-in.
