Imagine is proud to announce its selection as an Official Charity Partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, taking place on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The 2026 race marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic marathon, making this year’s event especially meaningful for runners and nonprofit partners alike.

As part of this partnership, Imagine has been awarded 10 guaranteed race entries and will join fellow charities in supporting New York Road Runners (NYRR) in its ambitious goal of raising more than $100 million for Official Charity Partners.

Team Imagine runners will commit to raising a minimum of $5,000 each to help ensure that Imagine’s grief support programs remain free of charge for children, teens, and families coping with the loss of someone close to them.

Running the TCS New York City Marathon is an unforgettable experience,” said Nora Gallagher, Events and Communications Manager at Imagine. “For many of our runners, the miles are personal — a way to process their own grief, honor someone they’ve lost, and find strength in movement. They aren’t just running a race — they’re carrying love, remembrance, and the promise that no child will have to face loss alone.”

Imagine is seeking passionate, committed individuals — whether seasoned marathoners or first-time runners — who are ready to take on 26.2 miles in support of their mission. Applications are open now and must be submitted by March 6, 2026. To apply or learn more, visit imaginenj.org/marathon
