Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With Car In Union County

A 2013 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a 2009 Toyota Camry on Monday night, said police.

LINDEN, NJ — A motorcyclist was killed in connection with a car crash on Monday night in Linden, police said.

At around 8:50 p.m., Linden Police Officers went to the intersection of E. St. George Avenue and E. Baltimore Avenue on reports of a serious motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

Initial reports found that a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a 2009 Toyota Camry at the intersection, police said.

The motorcyclist, a 70-year-old Elizabeth man, had serious injuries and was taken to Trinitas Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.

This crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.
