Pedestrian Hit, Killed By NJ Transit Train At Station In Union County
The Raritan Valley Line train was headed to Newark Penn Station when the incident happened Friday morning.
PLAINFIELD, NJ — A person was reported hit and killed by a New Jersey Transit train on Friday morning.
At around 5:40 a.m., Raritan Valley Line train 5406, which was headed to Newark Penn Station, hit and fatally injured a person at the Plainfield station, NJ Transit Spokesman John Chartier told Patch.
There were no reported injuries to the crew or the 40 customers on board.
