Westfield To Hold Annual 9/11 Ceremony At North Avenue Memorial

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield will hold its annual September 11 remembrance ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, at 8:30 a.m. at Westfield’s 9/11 Memorial at North Avenue and East Broad Street.

The event comes as this year marks 25 years since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Mayor Jeremy Berman said in his weekly newsletter that the anniversary carries particular significance as the community remembers the lives lost that day, including members of the Westfield community.

Residents are invited to attend the observance at the memorial site.

On the 25th anniversary of the attacks, Westfield remembers and mourns:
