Westfield Hosts Holiday Lights Contest For 2023

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield's Recreation Department is hosting its Holiday Light Contest for 2023.

• All participants must register on Civic Rec and send at least 1 photo of your home to lconrad@westfieldnj.gov by Dec. 6.
• Must be a Westfield Resident
• Each household only requires one person in the home to register for the contest.
• All contest participants must agree to have one or more photos of their home, address & family name on the town website and Recreation Facebook page.
• Homes should be lit up at sundown daily to display their best presentation.
• Decorations should be installed by the residents. Professionally installed decorations/lights will not be considered.
• All contest participants must agree to have their address on our Google map for voting.
• All homes entered in the contest will receive a 24'x18' lawn sign that confirms their participation in the contest. This sign must remain visible throughout the contest judging period.
• All lights/decorations must be visible from the front curb of the home.
• Participants’ home must have decorations up for the entire judging time frame. (Dec. 13 - Dec. 22).
• Voting opens 10 a.m. on Dec. 13 and closes on Dec. 22 at 11:59 p.m.
• A voting link will be posted on the Recreation website, Facebook and sent through Civic Rec prior to Dec. 13.
• Homes that receive the three most votes will be awarded the following prizes
  • 1st Place: $100.00 Visa Gift Card
  • 2nd Place: $50.00 Visa Gift Card
  • 3rd Place: $25.00 Visa Gift Card
• Winners will be announced by Dec. 29.
