Westfield Police Recruiting Certified Candidates For Officer Openings
The department said applicants must meet age, licensing and certification rules, with pay up to $65,000 based on experience.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Police Department is seeking PTC-certified candidates for police officer positions.
The starting salary is up to $65,000, based on experience.
Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years old. Candidates must be currently PTC certified or completing an Alternate Route program by June 30.

The department also lists a high school diploma or GED, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, a complete background investigation, and successful medical and psychological examinations among the minimum qualifications.
Applicants must not have been convicted of violations of New Jersey or United States law, except minor traffic offenses, and must not have been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude.
