Washington Township Knights Food Drive

The Washington Township Knights of Columbus have their annual food drive scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10. Township residents are asked to placed bagged donations of non-perishable foods and personal hygiene items at their doorstep before 10 a.m.

Volunteers from the organization will travel to each home in Washington Township to collect the donations, which will be distributed to local food pantries.

Non-perishable food items needed are powdered milk, hot and cold cereals, canned fruits, vegetables, stew, fish, meats, soups, one-can meals, peanut butter, jelly, pudding, Jell-O, pasta products, rice, baby food, sugar, flour, coffee, tea, pancake mix, etc. Personal hygiene items are also much appreciated as they cannot be obtained with food stamps.

Monetary donations may be sent to the K of C Food Drive, 79 Pascack Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676. The parcels of food and other items may be left there as well.
