In honor of our county's 250th birthday.
Doug Aumuck, an historian Resource Interpretive Specialist at the Arts Institute of Middlesex County, returns to ACI for an informative and interactive talk on medicine during our nation's fight for independence.
On both sides in the American Revolution, many more soldiers died from disease than in combat, and many more died from wounds than were killed outright. The most feared killer in North America at this time was smallpox. Find out how diseases and combat wounds alike were treated. See and hold reproductions of 18th century surgical instruments and medicines!
Refreshments will be served.
ACI is a proud partner of RevolutionNJ.
