Bergen County Man Sexually Assaulted Girl Under 13: Prosecutor
A Bergen County man was arrested Wednesday for sexually assaulting a child under 13.
OAKLAND, NJ — An Oakland man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl under 13, prosecutors said.
Victor G. Sayas, 39 was charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, said the office of Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Oakland police contacted prosecutors on Monday regarding the alleged assault, officials said. An investigation determined that the girl was assaulted in Oakland.

Sayas was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, officials said.
