Car Flips Over, Lands In North Jersey Creek

A large wrecker retrieved a car that skidded off the slick highway, Bergen County officials said.

RAMSEY, NJ — Police and firefighters in Ramsey headed to Route 17 early on Tuesday morning to pull an overturned car out of a creek, officials said.

"Upon arrival the vehicle was found off of the roadway in a creek and the driver had been removed from the vehicle," firefighters posted. "A large wrecker was required to remove the vehicle and the road way was cleared after about 90 minutes."
