Media outlets pointed to a $500K Bergen County home as a sign of high real estate prices this week.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Even amid Bergen County's high-priced homes and mansions, a recent selling price for a house in Bogota drew extensive press coverage — largely because of the building's size.

The brokers, Keller Williams, did not respond to the Post's questions about the square footage of the one-bedroom, one-bathroom spot, the news outlet reported. (The home does, however, have room in front for two cars.)
The listing for the home, located at 16 West Grove St., says, "Beautifully rebuilt from the ground up in 2023, this move-in ready home offers the perfect condo alternative with NO HOA fees! Everything has been completely renovated and updated since 2023 ... This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath home features modern finishes throughout."

It's "Ideal for first-time buyers, downsizers, or anyone looking for a turnkey property."
The brokers also failed to respond to inquiries from Patch this week.
The Post noted, "The casual observer would likely assume that the humble abode is on the smaller side of Bogota’s median home size, which is 1,300 to 1,500 square feet."
Real estate websites listed nine other single-family homes for sale in Bogota, all priced higher.
