Lawn Watering Rules Continue In Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Glen Rock Amid Heat
Nearly an inch of rain was set to fall this week, but lawn watering rules remain in effect in Ridgewood, Wyckoff, and Glen Rock.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Ridgewood Water, which serves Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Glen Rock, and Midland Park, has been imposing two-day lawn watering restrictions amid the heatwave.
Last Tuesday, the Ridgewood police said lawns were so parched, it might be better if people waited a week. "You can help the community get through the current heat wave by voluntarily NOT WATERING YOUR LAWN THIS WEEK," they wrote. "Help conserve water for critical situations, such as putting out fires."
That said, the NWS expected relief from the 90-degree temperatures starting Wednesday evening, when as much as an inch of rain was expected to fall.
