100 Black Men of Eastern New York Highlights 1st and 2nd-Quarter 2026 Progress and Launches Member Drive

NEW YORK — August 3, 2026 — The 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. is highlighting its first- and second-quarter 2026 activities while issuing a call for accomplished, service-minded men to join the organization’s growing movement of mentors, leaders and community advocates.

Throughout the first half of 2026, the chapter continued strengthening its organizational foundation, expanding community partnerships and advancing initiatives aligned with the nationally recognized Four For The Future® program areas: Mentoring, Education, Health and Wellness, and Economic Empowerment.

First-quarter priorities included strengthening membership recruitment, expanding community partnerships, developing mentoring and youth leadership initiatives, promoting financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and increasing awareness of the chapter throughout Eastern New York.

Second-quarter efforts focused on recruiting qualified men committed to mentoring and community service, expanding outreach, strengthening leadership development, and encouraging professionals to become active mentors and ambassadors for the organization.

Momentum accelerated following participation in the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. 40th Annual Conference held in New York City, where members engaged in leadership development, chapter collaboration, youth programming, and the exchange of best practices that will benefit communities across Eastern New York.

The mission of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is advanced through Mentoring, Education, Health and Wellness, and Economic Empowerment.

Locally, the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York is committed to improving the quality of life for youth and families through mentoring, educational enrichment, leadership development, financial literacy, workforce readiness, civic engagement, and strategic community partnerships.

The chapter is actively recruiting men of integrity who are willing to mentor, lead, and serve. Membership provides an opportunity to make a lasting difference while joining a respected national network dedicated to empowering future generations.

Phil Andrews, Founding President of the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc., has spent more than three decades advancing entrepreneurship, mentoring, and community development. He also serves as President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and has earned numerous honors, including recognition as a U.S. Small Business Administration Small Business Champion.

His vision is to build a strong, sustainable chapter that develops future leaders while creating measurable impact throughout Eastern New York.
