100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. Hosts March 2026 Informational, Historical & Stakeholder Development Meeting and Networking Session
EASTERN NEW YORK, March 2026 — The 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. successfully hosted its March 2026 Informational, Historical and Stakeholder Development Meeting along with a Networking Session, bringing together community leaders, stakeholders, educators, business leaders, clergy, and community residents for an evening focused on collaboration, history, and the future of service to the community.
The meeting served as an opportunity to provide attendees with historical information about the founding and growth of the 100 Black Men movement locally and nationally, while also outlining the vision and strategic direction of the Eastern New York chapter.

Participants were able to learn more about the organization’s programs, initiatives, and opportunities for community involvement, mentorship, partnership, and membership.
The program included presentations on the history and mission of the organization, which is built on the national movement’s model of “Four For The Future” ® Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment.

These pillars continue to guide the work of the organization as it serves communities throughout Eastern New York, including Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties.
The stakeholder development portion of the meeting focused on building strategic partnerships with community organizations, businesses, schools, faith-based institutions, and civic leaders.
The organization emphasized the importance of collaboration to create sustainable programs and measurable outcomes that positively impact youth, families, and communities.
The networking session that followed allowed attendees to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration and community engagement. The event also provided information for prospective members, volunteers, and community partners interested in supporting the mission and work of the organization.

Phil Andrews, is the President of the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. and is known throughout New York State as a master networker, and is the current President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and the African American Small Business Foundation, Inc.

“The purpose of this meeting was not only to share our history, but to build our future through partnerships and stakeholder engagement,” said leadership of the organization. “When organizations, community leaders, and residents work together, we can create real opportunities and real change in our communities. Our goal is to continue building an organization that serves as a resource, a partner, and a leader in mentoring, education, health, and economic empowerment.”
The 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. continues to expand its presence and programming throughout the region and plans to host additional informational sessions, mentoring initiatives, health programs, economic empowerment workshops, and leadership development programs throughout 2026.
