Affordable Housing Lottery Opens For Building In Astoria: What To Know

ASTORIA, NY — An affordable housing lottery from NYC Housing Connect is now accepting applications for one-bedroom apartments at 23-57 31st Street in Astoria.

The available one-bedroom apartments are listed at $2,117 per month, with eligibility based on household size and income. The units feature modern amenities including in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, hardwood floors and air conditioning. Residents also have access to a rooftop terrace, elevator and secure building entry.

Tenants are responsible for electricity, including electric heat, hot water and cooking. The building permits one pet weighing up to 25 pounds, while service animals are permitted as an exception.

Applications are being accepted through the NYC Housing Connect lottery. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 15
