Suffolk Convenience Store Employee Found In Possession Of Drugs, Bags, Scales: Police
He was nabbed after an investigation sparked by community complaints, police say.

WEST BABYLON, NY — An employee was arrested Thursday after being found in possession of drugs at a West Babylon convenience store, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place at Infinite Convenience Store, located on Great East Neck Road, at 3 p.m.
In response to community complaints, First Precinct crime unit officers, the First Precinct community support unit and Town of Babylon officials conducted a search warrant at the store, police said.

Jerome Jones, 55, of Patchogue, an employee of the store, was found in possession of a felony amount of crack/cocaine, along with bags and scales associated with sales of narcotics, police said.
Jones was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, police said.

He will be held at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday, police said.
