Man Shot While Riding In Vehicle In North Bay Shore: Police
Multiple people got out of another vehicle and fired shots into a car, striking a 21-year-old man, police say.
NORTH BAY SHORE, NY — A 21-year-old man was injured in a shooting in North Bay Shore on Sunday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
Four people were traveling in a vehicle near Stein Drive and Belgrave Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. when multiple people got out of another vehicle and fired shots into their car, striking the man, police said.
The driver of the vehicle the injured man was in flagged down a police officer on 5th Avenue in North Bay Shore, police said.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating.
