Central Islip Students Shine In ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’ School Musical

The Central Islip High School musical department performed the annual production March 6 and 7, drawing strong community support.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — The Central Islip High School musical department proudly presented its annual school musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” with performances held on March 6 and March 7.

Directed by Dr. Anthony Griffin, the production brought together student performers, stage crew members and school staff who worked diligently to bring the beloved musical comedy to life on the high school stage.

Both performances were largely attended by members of the Central Islip community, who gathered to support the students and celebrate their hard work and creativity.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sharon A. Dungee and the Central Islip Board of Education congratulated everyone involved in this year’s production, recognizing the dedication of the cast and crew.

District officials also commended the students and staff for their perseverance and strong work ethic as they prepared for the show while navigating modified rehearsal schedules caused by the recent Long Island blizzard.
