Jake’s 58 Patrons Raise $11K For National Kidney Foundation Through “Donate Your Change”

The Islandia casino said its change-collection program produced an over 11K gift benefiting National Kidney Foundation programs.

ISLANDIA, NY — Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel patrons helped generate a $11,792.93 donation for the National Kidney Foundation through the casino’s “Donate Your Change” program, according to Jake’s 58.

Phil Boyle, CEO and president of Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel, presented the check to the National Kidney Foundation, the casino said.

Jake’s 58 said the “Donate Your Change” program is funded by patrons using their spare change, supporting the National Kidney Foundation’s mission to help prevent kidney disease, improve the lives of patients through education and advocacy, and fund research.

Representatives from the National Kidney Foundation who attended the presentation included Saskia Thomson, executive director for Greater New York; Meghan Burns, senior director of development and communications; and Tracey Beach, senior development manager for senior events.
