2 Arrested For Fatally Stabbing Man Outside NYC Bar, Police Say

The incident happened outside a bar in Bushwick.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two people have been arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing outside a Brooklyn bar over the weekend.

Darrin Webster, 29, and Randolph Robertson, 38, have both been charged in connection with the stabbing outside Marco’s on Broadway in Bushwick.

Webster is facing murder, attempted assault, assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges.

Robertson has been charged with assault, drug possession and menacing,

According to police, 26-year-old Amare Simmons was stabbed in the abdomen and slashed in the face.

A 28-year-old man was also slashed in the incident.

Simmons was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The other man is expected to survive.

An investigation remains ongoing.
