Free Sponsored Giveaways at The Art Meetup in Bushwick

Looking for something creative and community-centered to do in Brooklyn this weekend? The Art Meetup is bringing local artists, workshops, sponsored giveaways, music, and interactive activities to Maria Hernandez Park for an afternoon designed to help New Yorkers create, connect, and discover new resources.

The Art Meetup returns to Maria Hernandez Park Saturday, August 1, from 2–7 PM for live art, workshops, music, and connection with NYC’s creative community.

Everyone who RSVPs and attends will receive a collection of free sponsored giveaways while supplies last.

Giveaways include products from:

Additional products include Brooklyn Tea, Wishing Well laundry detergent, Create Wellness creatine gummies, Taste Salud drink mixes, WIP Energy caffeine pouches, DUDE Wipes, Nuun hydration mixes, and other wellness samples.

We are meeting at 2 PM so attendees have time to settle in, connect with the community, and receive giveaways before community activities begin at 3 PM.

The afternoon will include:

3 PM: Creativity to Transmute Trauma with @daleyydosage
4 PM: Community Chalk Mural and Giveaways with @nonlocalai
5 PM: Making Wire Art with @crystallinecrafts
6 PM: Community Raffle and Networking

The raffle will include a $100 Sweetgreen gift card and art supplies from Manny “ZALES” Gonzalez through Art Start.

This gathering was created with Black, Brown, and Latino artists and creatives in mind while remaining open and welcoming to everyone who values art, culture, creativity, and community.

The Art Meetup is volunteer-led and donation-supported. Donations help cover supplies, production, transportation, signage, programming, and future community gatherings.
