New City, NY – The Clarkstown Rotary Club, a cornerstone of community service in Rockland County, is at a critical juncture. We are reaching out to local leaders and community members to join us in preserving the impactful work we do. Together, we can ensure the club continues to thrive and make a difference in our community.
Join us for an informative evening on Monday, August 17th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at La Terraza Restaurant, located at 291 S Main St, New City, NY 10956. This is our final opportunity to rally support and attract new members who are passionate about serving our community.
Why Join the Clarkstown Rotary Club?
The Rotary Club has a rich history of contributing to local needs and making a positive impact. Some of our proud achievements include:
- Spring and Fall Festivals in Congers at Station Park, featuring over 50 vendors, live music, and activities for children.
- Funding for two service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD.
- Sponsorship of Honor Busses that transport veterans to Washington, D.C., allowing them to tour memorials and engage with lawmakers about veterans' issues.
- Awarding scholarships to local high school seniors to support their educational aspirations.
- Providing essential laptops to students during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure they could continue their education.
- Elementary school coat drive
These initiatives are just a glimpse of what we can achieve together. However, we need dedicated leaders to join our efforts and continue making a difference.
