'Trunk Or Treat' Brings Safe Halloween Fun To Deer Park
The event offers a fun, free, and safe twist on traditional Halloween trick-or-treating. There will be candy, prizes, music, and more.
DEER PARK, NY — An evening of free and safe "spook-tacular" Halloween fun is coming to Deer Park on Thursday, Oct. 31.
From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., families are invited to join an evening of Halloween festivities during the annual free Trunk at Geiger Park, featuring allergy-friendly candy, prizes, music, and much more.
The event is sponsored New York State Sen. Monica R. Martinez and Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean- Pierre.

According to a statement from Martinez' office, "young ghouls and goblins" are encouraged to wear costumes, although they’re welcome to come as their "spooky selves."
