EAST MEADOW, NY — Students proudly celebrated their heritage during George McVey Elementary School's vibrant Culture Day celebration on May 19.
Families, students, and staff gathered to honor the many cultures and traditions represented throughout the school community.
Classrooms were filled with colorful displays, personal stories, and presentations highlighting countries, customs, and family traditions from around the world.
