“He hasn’t been charged with a shooting, it’s just the weapons possession charge,” attorney Greg Zak told Patch Friday.
As for the weapons charge, both the district attorney's office and the teen's attorney said the teen had pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors did not identify the boy due to his age, and Zak said he didn’t wish to comment on the charges Friday. The teenager, Zak said, has no prior criminal convictions.
