We wanted to let you know that we are seeking volunteers for our upcoming Slow Skills to Sustain You: New Life for Old Clothes — Visible Mending with Joy Mao workshop on August 11, from 9:30AM - 1:30PM (Rain Date: August 2).

New Life for Old Clothes — Visible Mending with Joy Mao
We are putting the call out for volunteers experienced in visible mending for our upcoming workshop, New Life for Old Clothes — Visible Mending with Joy Mao. Participants will learn foundational knowledge and skills to breathe new life into garments that transform with a little creativity and TLC. The workshop will take place at Fort Greene Park on South Monument Plaza Lawn from 10:30AM-1:00PM (followed by a 30-min after-class tea time) on August 1 (rain date: August 2).
Volunteers' duties include: setting up equipment, photo taking, checking in attendees, tally tracking, distributing workshop and reading materials, assisting the workshop leader with tasks, and breaking down equipment. You will be expected to volunteer from 9:30AM to 1:30PM. We look forward to having you join us in the park!
