Roosevelt School District Board President, Teachers Honored at SCOPE’s 25th Annual Awards Dinner
Belinda Monroe, Kirsten Roberts and Eric Amadeo are Recognized for their Outstanding Commitment and Dedication
Three members of the Roosevelt School District were recognized as shining star honorees at SCOPE’s 25th Annual School District Awards Dinner, held on March 23 at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook.
Board of Education President Belinda Monroe received the School Board Service Award, while Kirsten Roberts and Eric Amadeo were each honored with the Teacher Service Award. Their recognition highlights their dedication, leadership and lasting contributions to the Roosevelt school community.
The annual SCOPE Awards Dinner celebrates excellence in education across Long Island. This year, a total of 192 individuals were recognized in five categories: School Board Service, Community Service, Teacher Service, Support Staff Service and Administrator Service.

“These outstanding individuals exemplify the commitment and passion that define the Roosevelt School District,” said Roosevelt School District Superintendent of Schools Dr. Shawn Wightman. “We are incredibly proud of Belinda Monroe, Kirsten Roberts and Eric Amadeo for this well-deserved recognition. Their work continues to inspire our students, staff and community every day.”
