The district has announced the results of its budget and board of education election.

GLEN COVE, NY — The Glen Cove City School District's 2026-2027 budget passed on Tuesday.
The budget of $122,314,624 passed with 668 "yes" votes and 388 "no" votes.
The 2026-2027 proposed budget is $122,314,624, an increase of 3.55 percent from the current 2025-2026 $42,174,160.

The budget carries a tax levy increase of 2.42 percent, which is at the District's allowable cap.
Voters re-elected Maria Elena Venuto and elected Robert Nosek to the Board of Education. It was a contested race between Angela Raimo, Maria Elena Venuto, and Robert Nosek.
