Murray Hill Group Invites Neighbors To Volunteer For DOROT Rosh Hashanah Deliveries

Volunteers must be 18 or older, and registration is required by Wednesday, September 9.

MURRAY HILL, NY — The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association is inviting residents to come together this September for a community volunteer effort supporting older adults through DOROT’s Rosh Hashanah Package Delivery.

Volunteers will meet in Murray Hill at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, then travel together to DOROT’s East Side location at the Moise Safra Center, 130 E. 82nd St. to pick up festive Rosh Hashanah packages.

Each volunteer will be matched with an older adult living between East 14th and East 96th Streets. Depending on DOROT’s needs, volunteers will either make an in-person delivery and visit or connect with the recipient by phone.
