Man Shoved Onto Tracks At Manhattan Subway Station: NYPD

HARLEM, NY — Police are seeking a suspect Friday after a man shoved a victim onto the train tracks at a subway station in Manhattan, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the 40-year-old man was standing on the downtown platform at the 125th Street station on Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. when the suspect approached and started arguing with the victim.

The suspect then shoved the victim off the platform and onto the train tracks, before fleeing on a downtown 3 train, police said.

Officials said the victim was pulled back onto the platform by Good Samaritans and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition with minor injuries.

Police are searching for a perpetrator and have released surveillance photos of the suspect. No arrests have been made yet.
