16-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized After E-Bike Crash In Westbury: PD
The teenager suffered facial swelling and a leg laceration after striking a Ford on Carmen Avenue, police say.
WESTBURY, NY — A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after he struck a Ford with his e-bike Thursday night in Westbury, police said.
According to Nassau County police, the teenager was riding an e-bike northbound on Carmen Avenue when he struck a 2016 white Ford that was making a left turn out of a parking lot at 7:50 p.m.
The teenager suffered swelling to his face and a laceration to his leg and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said.

No other injuries were reported and the Ford driver remained at the scene, according to police.
