Beginning Friday, May 22nd, the Farmers Market will take place every Friday from 3:00–7:00 PM, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to shop local, support small businesses, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that makes Bay Shore so special.
Presented by South Shore Farmers Market, this weekly gathering will feature a curated mix of local farmers, food artisans, and vendors, all set against the iconic backdrop of the Bay Shore Bandshell. Our 25th Anniversary Arts Festival by the Bay, Sponsored by Southshore University Hospital

Our 25th Anniversary "Arts Festival by the Bay" returns to downtown Bay Shore on Sunday, June 14th. Sponsored by South Shore University Hospital, Northwell Health.
This is a big day for downtown Bay Shore, perhaps the biggest (alongside the St. Pat’s Parade).
The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., transforming Main Street from Shore Lane to Smith Avenue into a vibrant celebration of local art, music and community spirit.
“The Arts Festival by the Bay is more than just an event; it’s a vibrant reflection of Bay Shore’s creative soul and community pride,” said Edward Fraser, the chamber’s president, as well as deputy commissioner of the Bay Shore BID.
“For 24 years, this festival has brought together artists, families, neighbors, and visitors to celebrate what makes our downtown truly special. Events like this not only boost local businesses and tourism but also strengthen the fabric of our community.
