Queens Public Library Offers Free Shakespeare In the Park Tickets

ELMHURST, NY — Queens Public Library is giving away a limited number of free tickets to Shakespeare in the Park’s production of “The Winter’s Tale,” directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan.

Free ticket vouchers will be distributed Friday, August 21, from noon to 2 p.m. at Elmhurst Library on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Each person in line over age 5 is eligible to receive two tickets.

A Public Theater Patron ID is required to claim a voucher, and attendees are encouraged to create or confirm their ID before arriving.

The performance is scheduled for 8 p.m. on August 21 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, at 81 Central Park West. The production presents Shakespeare’s mysterious and romantic tale of love, betrayal and redemption.
