2. Maraschino fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go towards a local team's fundraising goal for the Hicksville Relay for Life. Stop by for some sweets and help the cause.
3. It's the second day of spring break. Getting stir crazy with all the kids home? Get some energy out of the little ones at Tot's Night Out tonight at the Island Trees Public Library. Kids ages 18 months to 5 years are invited to this free event at 7 p.m. for stories, singing, dancing, crafts and more.

4. Students may be off from school this week, but our local student athletes are still taking the field. Head over to Bethpage High School (10 Cherry Ave., Bethpage) to cheer on the Division Blue Dragons boys varsity lacrosse team at 11 a.m.
