Car Fire Closes Gardiners Avenue

The fire was extinguished and the road was reopened with no injuries.

The Levittown and Wantagh Fire Departments responded to multiple calls for a car fire on Gardiners Avenue by Knoll Lane at 2:45 p.m. Monday.

The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. Gardiners
Avenue was closed temporarily in both directions until the operation was
complete.
