Photos: Chiaramonte Smokes Port Washington with No-Hitter

Port Washington's batters were left stunned by MacArthur pitcher Joe Chiaramonte's presence on the mound Monday, as the powerful junior threw a complete game no-hitter complete with 13 strikeouts.

Generals Brett Ellers, Mike Koslowski, Nick Kaywood and Bobby Kohlmann kept up their end of the deal on offense, scoring six runs to lead the team to a 6-0 victory. 

Chiaramonte excelled under pressure as the game came down to the final inning, striking out the last two batters to come to the plate as his proud teammates mobbed the mound to congratulate him on this huge feat.
