Crime Report: Car Damage, False Report and Home Robbery
Recent police activity in Levittown as reported by the 8th Precinct.
The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
- The south lot rolling chain link fence at Division Avenue High School was reported damaged by an unknown person at 6 a.m. on March 25.
- Kevin E. Havlik, 36, of East Meadow, was arrested at Gardiners Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike for Agressive Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle 2nd Degree at 7:35 p.m. on March 26.
- A victim on Stonecutter Road in Levittown reported an unknown person put feathers and an unknown white substance all over his vehicle, causing damage, at 2 a.m. on March 27.
- Thomas A. Anderson, 24, of Levittown, was arrested at Division Avenue and Schoolhouse Road for Agressive Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle 2nd Degree at 5:35 p.m. on March 27.
- A victim on Elm Drive South in Levittown reported coming home at 8 a.m. on March 31 to find the front door wide open and a television extension wire laying on the front stoop. Unknowns had gained entry through a rear door and taken a flat screen TV, iPad, laptop, Wii and GPS.
- Kerrie A. Sheldrick, 20, of Levittown, was arrested for falsely reporting her vehicle was struck while it was parked at 2 p.m. on March 31. In actuality she had struck another vehicle, left the scene without reporting it, and gone home claiming her car had been hit while parked to hide what had happened.
- Tyshanay Jackson, 19, of Baldwin, was arrested at Levittown's Kohl's for larceny of assorted clothing valued at $97.96 at 5:03 p.m. on March 31.
